Can vPlan automatically reschedule at full capacity?
Can vPlan automatically reschedule at full capacity?
Updated over a week ago

No, that is not possible. vPlan deliberately works with 'infinite' capacity. This means that you can plan a day that is more than full. vPlan will alert you to this, but encourages you as a planner to find the right solution. You can choose to split the order, move it to another day or scale up the capacity.

So vPlan does not automatically reschedule. What happens if the next day is also full? And the day after that? Then your entire planning is shifted around without you being able to control it. If you would rather have solved it differently, then you can puzzle out everything back to where it was ;)

vPlan lets the planner stay in control.

There are, of course, handy tools to make it easy to adjust your planning, such as multi-select and moving collections in one go.

You can also set how long an activity should take per day in the Activities setup. With this, vPlan will automatically reschedule if the maximum duration is exceeded. The help article on activities explains this in more detail.
