With this automation, you can make sure that a card is automatically planned on another day, when the date you set expires and the card has not yet reached a certain status.
With this, you can ensure that, for example, all cards that were planned yesterday but not yet completed are automatically moved to today, keeping your planning up to date.
We have two automations for this:
When the start/end of a card is number of days/workdays before/after today and the status is something, move (this card/all cards/future cards) with number of workdays
When the start/end of a card in stage something is number of days/workdays before/after today and the status is something, move (this card/all cards/future cards) with number of workdays
The parameters you set here are start/end, number of (work)days before or after today, status, which card and number of days. First you set whether to move the card based on the card's start or end date. Then you choose when to move the card, when the start or end date is a certain number of days before or after today. You also choose at which status the card should be moved. You can check multiple statuses here. Then you choose whether you want to move only this card, all cards within the collection or only future cards within the collection. Finally, you choose by how many workdays the card should be moved.
With the second automation there is an additional condition, namely the stage. If you set this automation, then you choose the stage in which cards should be automatically moved.
Note
This automation starts automatically when a date expires, so at night at 00:00h it checks if there are cards that meet your automation and need to be moved.
