Automatically archive
Updated over a week ago

After using vPlan for a long time, your planboards or vPlan's backlog may be quite full of planned or unplanned tickets. You can manually clean up vPlan yourself but you can also automate this based on due dates.
This automation is triggered by due date. So all cards with a due date that is a few days before or after today should be archived.

  • When the collection is planned/not planned and the due date is number of days/workdays before/after today, move collection to archive

You can set some conditions yourself in this automation, planned or not planneed and the number of (work)days before or after today. At planned or not planned you specify whether vPlan should archive planned or not planned (backlog) cards with this automation. You can also check both options. With the number of days before or after today, you indicate the number of (work)days the automation should work. With the option before or after today you choose whether vPlan should check for a due date in the future, or in the past. Want to archive old cards? Then choose the before today option. This tells vPlan that the automation should start working when the due date is a few days before today, i.e. in the past.

NoteThis automation starts automatically when a date expires, so at night at 00:00h it checks if there are cards that meet your automation and need to be moved.
