In the vPlan app, you’ll find the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. From here, you can navigate to Time Tracking.
In addition to tracking time directly on cards, the vPlan app also includes an overview where you can track your time per week for all cards assigned to you. You’ll find this under the third tab in the app, represented by the timer icon. This section also shows all active timers.
A red dot with a number inside indicates that there are active timers (in the image above, one).
In this overview, you can tap the Stop button next to any running timer to stop and record the time. This way, you don’t have to open a specific card in your planning to stop the timer.
Below the active timers, you’ll also find your previously tracked time entries. To edit a tracked time, simply tap the entry, you’ll be taken directly to that time record, where you can make adjustments and save the changes.
Overview
In the Time Tracking tab, you’ll see an overview of all cards assigned to you that have a time duration. You can choose between a daily or weekly view. These two views display different available, planned, and registered hours, as well as the cards for either a single day or the entire week.
At the top, you’ll see the days of the week with a grey bar underneath. This bar shows how much time you’re scheduled for that day. As you track time, the bar fills up in blue. Below the bar, you’ll see the total registered time for that day, also shown in blue. Further down, you’ll find the available time, planned time, and registered time. You can switch between viewing these values per day or per week.
Below this section, you’ll see all your cards, displayed either by day or by week. Each card shows its planned date, the related activity, and a grey bar representing the estimated time. As you register time, this bar also fills in blue. Underneath, you’ll see the days of the week represented by white boxes where you can track time, this is explained in more detail below. Once you’ve saved a time entry, it will appear under the corresponding card.
