vPlan app Home

Updated over a week ago

When you open the vPlan app, you’ll land on the Home page. On the Home page, you can see all the cards assigned to you. This dashboard is fully customizable, allowing you to display only the cards that matter most to you using widgets. In this article, we’ll explain how it works.

Widgets

In the vPlan app, you can organize your dashboard so that it only shows the cards that are relevant to you.
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll find several tiles, such as Today and Overdue.
These tiles, or widgets, can easily be customized so that they display only the information you want to see.

To do this, simply press and hold a widget. A menu will appear with the options Edit or Delete.

When you tap Edit, you’ll open a menu where you can filter by different boards, stages, statuses, labels, and resources you want to include, as well as define the time period.
Once you’ve set your preferences, tap Save widget at the bottom of the screen.

Note

Preferences are user-specific. Changes you make will not affect other users.

You can also add your own widget. When you swipe to the side, you’ll see a tile next to your existing widgets that allows you to create a new widget.

Just like before, you’ll enter the menu where you can choose your filters, allowing you to create your own fully personalized dashboard.

Daily progress

The progress bar shows the percentage of cards you’ve completed. It counts the cards assigned to the logged in user that are planned for today’s date.

Task bar

At the bottom of the dashboard, you’ll find a navigation bar with four icons.
You can use this bar to switch between different views at any time.
The other views, Planning and Time Tracking, are explained in the following articles.
