How can I re-establish connection between vPlan and Exact Online?

The link between vPlan and Exact Online is technically made by matching your vPlan account and your Exact Online account. For instance, when setting up vPlan you'll have to log in with your Exact Online account in order to make a match with vPlan.


Is your link not working anymore? It might be that your link with vPlan and Exact Online is not synchronised anymore because your username or password of Exact Online has changed. In this case the match between vPlan and Exact has been broken.


You can easily re-establish the link by re-authenticating yourself. Just follow these steps:


1. In the left menu of vPlan go to Settings. You will now be taken to the Settings of vPlan.
2. In the left-hand menu bar ofPlan, go to Integrations

3. Then click on the Edit button in your Exact Online integration which is the left one of the three balls.

You are now in the configuration page of your Exact Online integration.


In the Integration configuration you can see that all the import bars are set to red. You will also see that no administration is linked anymore. You can set this up again by removing the block and clicking on Authenticate again.

You will then be sent to Exact Online to log in with your new username and password. After that you will be sent back to vPlan and your link will be re-activated.
