Updated over a week ago

When you open vPlan Go you enter the dashboard. In the dashboard you will see your assigned cards. This dashboard is completely customizable so that you see only the cards that are important to you, through the widgets. You can read all about this later in this article.
You will also find the notification center and your profile in the dashboard.

Notifications

A user can receive notifications when he is assigned as a resource to a card, or when you are mentioned in a comment in a card. This way, you don't have to constantly open the app, but are proactively alerted.

To get notifications in vPlan Go, you do have to give the app permission to send you notifications once. You will be asked this question when you first use the app and may grant it if you wish. Should you want to change this at a later time, you can always adjust this through the settings of your mobile device.

To see your notifications within the app press the bell icon in the top right corner: .

When there are new notifications, a red dot will appear near the dashboard icon, the globe, at the bottom of the menu bar with the number of new notifications:

The notification screen then displays the notifications in order of arrival. When you press on the notification, it opens the card that the notification is about.

Tip

Want to know what notifications you might be able to receive? Then read this article: Notifications.

Profile

In vPlan Go, you can easily view your profile. When you click on your avatar at the top right of the dashboard (your avatar shows your photo, or your initials), you will be taken to your profile information.
In the profile page you have insight into your user information. In addition, you can access settings here, and you can log out at the bottom of the page.

Widgets

In our vPlan Go app it is possible to set up your dashboard so that you only see the cards that are important to you. You can do this by customizing the widgets.
At the top of the dashboard, you will find a number of tiles, for example, the "Today" and "Overdue" tiles.
These tiles, or widgets, are easily customized so that you only see the information you want to see here. You can do this by holding down the widget for a moment. A menu will appear where you can choose between changing or deleting it.

Once you have clicked on 'Change', you come to a menu where you can filter on the different plan boards, the phases, the statuses, the labels and the resources you want to see in cards in the dashboard, and over which period. Then click save widget at the bottom.

Note

The preferences are set per user and will not be saved for other users.

It is also possible to add your own widget. If you scroll a little to the side, you will see a tile next to the existing widgets with which you can create a new widget.

Again, this will take you to the menu where you can choose the filters. This way you can completely create your own dashboard!

Daily progress

The progress bar shows the percentage of cards you have completed. These are cards that are assigned to the logged in user, and are planned for today's date.

Menu bar

At the bottom of the dashboard you see a menu bar, with four icons. Here you can always switch to another overview. The other overviews are explained in the following articles.
