It is possible to access multiple environments within vPlan with a single user account. This can be useful if, for example, you work for different teams or projects, each with its own vPlan environment. Here you’ll find out how to link multiple environments to your account.
Being invited to a new environment
If you are invited to join a new vPlan environment using the same email address that you already use for another vPlan environment, you will have the option to link this new environment to your existing account.
Open the invitation email for the new environment and click on the invitation link.
Select "Already have an account? Log in." This allows you to log in without creating a new account.
Logging in with your existing account
After clicking on "Already have an account? Log in." enter your existing username and password. Once logged in, the new environment will automatically be linked to your account. You now have access to both environments under a single user account.
Switching between environments
When you have linked multiple environments to your account, you can easily switch between them.
Go to the top of the screen, and click on the name of the current environment on the left side of the menu bar.
A list of all environments linked to your account will appear. Click on the environment you want to work in to switch directly.
You can now switch between environments flexibly without needing to log in again each time.
Note
Each environment remains independent of the others. This means that data from one environment is not automatically visible in another environment.
By following these steps, you can easily link multiple environments to a single user account and switch between them effortlessly.
