You've hired a new employee or purchased a new machine. Naturally, you want to incorporate this new resource into your planning as soon as possible. But how do you add this resource to your board
Ensure that you have created the resource in the vPlan settings. You can learn how to do this in the article Resources.
Once you have created a resource, navigate to Settings, then to Boards, and select the board to which you want to add the resource.
When in the configuration of the correct board, go to the Capacity tab.
Click on the green button Add resource on the right side of the screen.
In the subsequent pop-up window, select your newly added employee or machine from the list of resources, and enable it using the toggle switch.
Then click Close to view the resource in your capacity matrix.
Now, all you need to do is allocate the capacity of your resource in percentage across any stages, if applicable.
Click Save at the bottom of the screen to save your planning board with the new resource.
