Why am I not receiving an email when I use the forgot password feature?

vPlan has a function to reset your password if you have forgotten it. See also the help article Forgot your password?

If you have followed these steps, you will receive an e-mail containing a reset link. But what if you do not receive the e-mail? This can have two main causes.

Your e-mail address is written with one or more capital letters

For example, at vPlan your account is registered as [email protected] (so with capital letters J and B). vPlan is strict about checking for capital letters.

Therefore, if you use the Forgot password function, you must enter capital letters in the username [email protected], otherwise your username will not be recognized and you will not receive any mail.

The mail has arrived in your spam box

Mails from vPlan, like other senders, can be accidentally marked as spam and moved to your junk mail box. Therefore, always check your junk mail or spam folder in your mail.
