Timesheets
Updated over a week ago

In addition to tracking time on the cards themselves, we have an overview in the vPlan app where you can track time per week on all your assigned cards. This overview can be found under the fourth tab in the app, the timer icon. This is also where all current time entries are tracked.

The red dot with a number in it indicates active timers (in this case, 1).

In this overview, you can click the Stop button next to the running timers to stop and record the time. This way you don't have to search for the card in your planning every time to stop the time recording.

Below the running timers you will also find previously recorded time. Do you want to adjust the time tracking? You can do so by clicking on the line next to the tracked time. You will be redirected directly to the time registration you have already entered. You can then change it and save it.

Overview

In the time registration tab you will see an overview of all cards to which you have been assigned and to which an estimated time applies. Here you can choose a daily or weekly overview. These two views show other available, planned and tracked hours, and the cards for just that day or the cards for the entire week. In the top block you see the days of the week, with a gray bar underneath. This bar indicates how much you are planned on that day. When you track time, these bars fill in blue. Below the bar you can also see in blue how much time has been tracked that day. A little further below the bars you see the available time, the planned time and the tracked time. As indicated earlier, you can choose whether you want to see the hours per day or per week.

Below this block you see all the cards, at the daily or weekly level. Here you see the card and the planned date. You will also see the activity and below it a gray bar with the estimated time. When time is recorded, this bar will also turn blue. Below this bar you will see all the days of the week. In the white squares below you can register time, as explained later.
When a time tracking is saved you will see this registration under the card.

Track time per day

If you look at the overview by day, you will see all cards to which you are assigned that day, to which an activity with time duration is attached. The estimated time is automatically divided over the planned days. To track time follow these steps:

  • Scroll to the card where you want to track time

  • Tap the white square below the day on which you want to track time

  • Enter the number of hours spent on this card and make sure the squares under the other days are empty

  • Click the blue button Save ... hours

The tracked time is now saved. Below the card you will see a line with the time tracking.

Track time per week

If you look at the overview by week, you will see all cards to which you are assigned that week, to which an activity with time duration is attached. Again, the estimated time is automatically divided over the planned days. To track time follow these steps:

  • Scroll to the card where you want to track time

  • Tap the white square below the day on which you want to track time

  • For each day, enter the number of hours spent on this card

  • Click the blue button Save ... hours

Because the estimated time is automatically distributed over the planned days, you can also track everything at once based on the pre-filled hours. You then only need to click the blue button.

Modify tracked time

You can quickly and easily modify tracked time in this overview. Below a card you see a line with the tracked time. You can click on this line. If you click on it you will see a wheel. Here you can change the tracked time in steps of a few minutes. In the center below the wheel you will see a blue pencil. If you click on it you can manually change the start and end time of this registration. You can also place a note here or delete the entire time tracking.
