Time off resources
Updated over a week ago

Within vPlan you can easily add absences to your resources. This can be for an employee, machine or cell. Each of these types of resources has its own options to choose from in terms of absence.

Time off in days

To add absence to resources you will need to go to Settings. In the settings you will find the Resources. Here you will find all your created resources in vPlan. When you click on the resource, you will see the heading "Time off" at the bottom. Click on the green Add time off button.
A window appears where you can add your absence. Here you can specify the following:
โ€‹
- A description of the type of absence
- Start and end date of absence
- Duration
- The type of absence

If you want to register time off for a longer period, it is sufficient to register only the start and end date. vPlan knows from the employee's schedule how many hours this is per day.
You only enter a duration if you want to register a half-day leave, for example. Then you can enter 4h to indicate that the employee is still available for work for 4h.

When you save the absence, you will see it in the resource. This way you will always be able to find all your registered absences per resource.

Time off in hours

Besides the absence in the settings, you can also easily adjust the hours per day per resource in the calendar view. Hover with your mouse on a resource to get more information. A tooltip with data will appear. It is possible to adjust the number of hours per stageper day for this resource.
For example, if an employee has to go to the dentist or for some other reason is present a few hours less per day, you can easily adjust this here.
