vPlan and the GDPR
Updated over a week ago

vPlan is fully GDPR proof. vPlan is a software supplier and therefore a data processor. vPlan uses minimal personal data of employees within its software. Because there is a hierarchical relationship between employer and employee, this data may be used without explicit permission. In the case of customer data, there is an immediate need.

In the situation that there is a former employee, things change. You may not use and keep personal data of former employees for longer than the intention for which these data were obtained. In addition, (ex-)employees have the right to view, correct or delete their data. Forgetting an employee is not mandatory by deleting the data. It is also sufficient to anonymize the data, this means that you can, for example, change the name of the employee in such a way that it cannot be traced back to the employee. You do this with all personal data of that person.
