Do you experience that vPlan works slower than normal? This is what you can check for yourself in order to trace the problem:

1. Check if vPlan has a malfunction on our status page

2. Check your internet speed. To do so, go to www.speedtest.net and click on the big GO button.

3. Do you work with thin clients? Have your system administrator check whether there is enough working memory available for vPlan.

4. How much working memory does your system have? Also check the vPlan system requirements.

5. Can you make more use of filters within vPlan? When you use vPlan for a longer period of time, your planning board may become fuller and fuller. Be critical whether you actually want to see everything in your planning. Do you really want to look at an entire year's planning? Is it really necessary to see completed cards in your planning? Make clever use of filters and optimise the speed of your planning.

6. Is your internet browser up to date? vPlan works best when your internet browser is running on the last two versions. With Google Chrome you can check this by following these steps.

7. Do you also experience slowness at other workstations? Or when using an internet cable? Or at home?

If you have any doubts as to whether the cause of the problems lies locally, or at vPlan, please feel free to contact our support desk.
