Within the Timeline view we have a few tricks:

- Hand icon👉🏻
- Dragging through your view
- Shortcut keys

Hand icon👉🏻

On the left side of the Timeline, you will find the list of all scheduled tasks. In the list, we show some details of the task. The list can be folded in and out, so you can see even more of the Timeline. Click on the 👉🏻-icon to go directly to the task in the Timeline.

Dragging through your view

When you want to go forward or back a period in your planning, you can easily drag your mouse through the view. When you are in planning board with your mouse, your cursor will change to the well-known "Mickey Mouse" hand. 

When you click with your mouse and hold it, you can move left and right through your schedule. This way you can easily move a period further in your planning. When you hold the mouse, the cursor will also change, as shown below:

vPlan has the following shortcut keys in the Timeline view:

+ : Zoom in on period selection

- : Zoom out period selection 

F : Opening Filter Menu

T : To today

V: To today
