1. vPlan Triggers
1.1. Create a card on backlog
This trigger ensures that an automatic action is performed in a linked app of your choice as soon as you add a card to the backlog in vPlan.
If a card is added in vPlan's backlog, then [action in other app].
If you set this trigger, you must also set the plan board to which the trigger applies, as in vPlan you can have your own backlog for each plan board.
2. vPlan Actions
2.1. Create a card on backlog
When this action is performed by a set Zapier trigger from another app, it causes a new card in vPlan to be added to the backlog.
When configuring this action you can make the following choices:
Name (determine which data from the linked app should be used to fill the title of the newly added card).
Description (determine which information from the associated app should be used to fill the description of the newly added card).
Due date (Identity the data from the linked app to be used to fill the due date of the newly inserted card).
Board (define the planning board for which this action should be set).
Tip: After setting up your plan board, the custom fields of vPlan for that plan board are also retrieved and configurable. These custom fields can be automatically filled with information from the linked app:
2.2. Create a card on planboard
When this action is performed by a set Zapier trigger from another app, it causes a new card to be planned on a vPlan board.
When configuring this action you can make the following choices:
Name (determine which data from the linked app should be used to fill the title of the newly added card).
Description (determine which information from the linked app should be used to fill the description of the newly added card).
Due date (Identify the data from the linked app to be used to fill the due date of the newly inserted card).
Board (define the planning board for which this action should be set).
Tip: After choosing your plan board, all custom fields of that plan board are also configurable. These can be mapped and filled automatically based on information from your linked app.
Start (determine which information from the linked app should be used to fill the start date of the newly planned map).
End (define the end date of the newly created map, based on information from the associated app).
Stage (define at which stage of your planning board the newly planned map is to be filled).
